Hi, glad to see that you made it this far!

I'm not sure what you expect to learn here so here are a few snippets for the curious.

I live in a place called Appley Bridge in the North West of England. It's a fairly small village with the nearest town being Wigan. We are outside of the urban spread and just touching some countryside. The peace and quiet here is great and there are plenty of excellent walks in the area.

My days are spent working for Rubicon Systems Limited. This has been my baby since 1988 when the company was formed. I handle all the technical issues relating to software design, implementation, documentation, training and support. The main area of business is databases with a strong emphasis on auto identification, barcodes and magnetic stripe cards.

My evenings and weekends are spent with my lovely lady Lisa and my great (but often demanding) kids. I spend some of that time making music. I also enjoy painting, travelling and good food and wine.
